Hot Cereal with Flaxseed is great Addition to our Morning

As soon as we recieved the Bob's Red Mill Organic High Fiber Hot Cereal with Flaxseed, my 3 year old twins wanted to try the cereal. I made them a bowl using the microwave method. I added a little bit of their vanilla soy milk to cool down and sweeten a bit. They LOVED it! I took a couple of bites and am looking forward to adding this to my regular morning routine. Glad I have another healthy food to feed my family!

I use oat bran both as a hot cereal and in baking. Bob's Red Mill Organic Oat Bran Cereal is delicious as a hot cereal (especially when cooked in milk rather than water) and ordering it online from Amazon is cheaper than buying Quaker Oat Bran in my local supermarket (if I buy it with enough other stuff in my order to qualify for Super Saver Shipping).


 I add flax seeds to foods regularly and have been enjoying oat bran for years. Bob's Red Mill Organic Oat Bran Hot Cereal is my preferred brand, so it's great to find it offered at Amazon. Known to add fiber and help reduce cholesterol levels, having this every day in one form or another is beneficial and can be very tasty, too.

These oats are rolled quite thick, resulting in chewy oatmeal that takes longer to cook (10 minutes) than more conventional, thinly rolled oats. They are my favorite because of the much more substantial texture. However, shipping charges make local bulk purchase a much less expensive option - ask for a discount on a case purchase at your local store.

These are some wonderful, high quality rolled oats. You absolutely cannot tell any difference from traditional rolled oats, except these might be a bit more high quality than most! Makes wonderful oatmeal, granola, cookies, and grinds easily in a food processor if you are looking to make GF oat flour.

So far of all the things I tried that was gluten free, I'm happy to say that this Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Whole Grain Ingredients product was gratifying. I love to eat oat mills and to be able to try one gluten free and loving the taste was quite extraordinary...since I've been disappointed with other gluten free products. This one is a keeper. Thank you "Red Mill's", someone finally got it right!!
